cupcake shaped cake pops - for a child’s first birthday party.
i think they are cute… i wish i had mixed the two buttercreams earlier because i love the look of the mixed ones.
ah well.

eventus’ carnival themed baby shower decorations - my cupcakes, cookies and cake pops.
so fab!
bbq at a friend’s house meant that i wanted to bring something summery to the party… butterflies and birds seemed to do the trick.
who-ville!
the cake i made for my office’s xmas party - inspired by the last image - i didn’t make the whos - and forgot to put snow on the sign, but other than that - a fun little cake.
the insides were fun too - since the cake was red and green - red velvet on the top and bottom and green french vanilla in the middle.
i was pretty happy with the colours and the general ‘whimsy’ of this one.
it’s so nice seeing my baked goodies in their new, party environments!
stars, stars, everywhere!
sparkling silver stars for a sweet sixteen party… i think they look awesome in person!
started adding cookies to my list of creations… and i like ‘em!
High-res
a set of brooklyn themed cookies for a friend whose williamsburg apt. burned down a couple of weeks ago.
the wine bottles are because he owns a liquor store.
plus he probably has had his fair share of booze since it happened.

cupcakes for the same baby shower as the previously posted cookies. they look antiqued - which is what the client wanted. yay!
new cookie cutters + the encroaching end of summer = a batch to cheer up the co-workers.
they declared them “pretty!” as well, of course, as yummy.
my first attempt at “lace”… inspired by sweetsugarbelle (who makes the most beautiful cookies i’ve ever seen)… obviously i have a lot of practicing before i can come even close to hers.
but it was an interesting adventure.
colour disco-pops!
the pops you might think are red - are really a deep burnt orange… to go with the coming fall.
made them for fun… brought them to the office - where a newer colleague, who hadn’t experienced mine before - declared that while she didn’t think the starbucks pops were worth the $2, mine would be worth $5! wow!
oh my god!
the disco ball cake pops - for the same sweet sixteen as my previously posted star cookies - are SO FRICKIN’ AWESOME!!!!
messy as sin - but who cares?!? look at ‘em!
High-res
not a cake… but a cake pop!
my first attempt at actually trying to decorate a cake pop… duplicating bakerella’s bag of popcorn design from her fabulous book.
i was distraught that the edible pens i bought wouldn’t even come close to writing on the chocolate… and i ended up having to paint on the food colouring.
i’m hoping to get my former flatmate’s photo of these - as she took one when there were like 8 or 9 of ‘em in the container… i guess i was so sad that the pens didn’t work that i never even considered taking a picture until they were almost all gone… ah well.
